First and foremost, the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples would like you to receive a brotherly regard.

Ever since some years ago, a fierce assault has been carried out through Internet on the peoples struggling for their freedom. The web page has been set as the new stage for the brawl, and during the first months of the current year, 2010 is being shown up the use of new technologies against Cuba by means of a heinous media campaign, which brims with lies, treason and dishonour.

Cuba is not the sole victim. Every people have been afflicted with the media. Nowadays, this struggle gets even tougher. It is necessary to face it with a cold mind, and warm heart, in a coordinated way and with the pen at the ready.

This is the reason why our Institute in conjunction with other Cuban institutions and taking account of the sponsorship of Cubainformación, calls upon the first edition of the Opposing Brigade to the Terrorist Media. We hope to reckon on the attendance of our friends engaged in the media sector and the public disclosure for the solidarity among the peoples.

The program scheduled from november 15th to 28th, 2010, comprises visits, exchanges, lectures related to the media in Cuba, the challenges to face amid this battle, and the enactment of agreements in an effort to bolster the collaboration among participants. The delegates will also attend the VI International Colloquium for the Freedom of the Five Heroes, and its program covers a workshop with the media participants, as one of the most important working sessions.

The stay includes six nights at the International Camp "Julio Antonio Mella" (CIJAM), in Caimito borough, 45 km from borough of Caimito a 45 Km from Havana and 6 nights in a facility located in Holguin Province during the VI Coloquium for the Five. The whole package includes (accommodation, full maintenance, and transportation), it will have a cost of 310.00 CUC in shared rooms up to 4 persons in the (CIJAM). Optional visits are not included in the price of the package. An additional night's stay at CIJAM costs 10.00 CUC.
